Di Shui Dong, a Hunan restaurant on Dong Ping Rd near Hengshan Rd
As we passed, well before our usual lunch hour, Gloria remembered that they had a good rating in Zagat.
So we went in and ate too much very good food.
This is a whole duck, in pieces, with two heads, four legs, and no breast. Cheating, but delicious, with big cloves of garlic.
(I couldn't figure out how to eat the head and didn't try the feet.)
Also pork belly with sauce over spicy vegetables; stuffed salted eggplant fritters; and thin pumpkin slices with lily bulb, dates, and tiny red fruit.
